I really like the adults in this game as they try to look out for kids involved in stuff way over their heads. I also like Joker Protagonist, King of the Bad Decisions, and enjoy characterising him as having a danger fetish up the wazoo. It’s unfortunate.
What I’d super enjoy is anything to do with the adults looking after them as best they can, especially re: late November, as simultaneously these weird kids are competent in ways the adults have no chance of matching and Akira in particular is absurdly well-connected. :B

I just think these two should become friends! I want them to meet through Akira and bond over trying to keep their noses clean as their pasts come back up and maybe Kaoru gets nudged into an internship.

I read a fic with this and it has given me a need. A need fandom has not otherwise fulfilled. Two dads, one ship, both completely awful at connecting with their children without the help of one (1) phantom thief who has ended up in jail. Let them try to be responsible together as they’re utter failboats. Possibly in response to late November.

Guess who likes manikins!! Futomimi and Sakahagi are both really interesting characters and I’d like to see stuff exploring them, especially in relation to the Demifiend helping their souls continue on after their deaths if you get them out of the Labyrinth. How do they feel about being demons now? How do they feel about the Demifiend enlisting them?
How do they feel about fucked up Futomimi/Sakahagi hatesex where the Demifiend has control over them both as their rescuer and summoner as he leads them into Lucifer’s service?

Shijima route is such a weird one and Hikawa’s a weirdo. How’s Shijima route happen? What gets the Demifiend interested? Does the Demifiend just wanna bang the guy like a screen door and get his horrible jacket off him?

Hellooooooo there. I prefer Lucifer to either be in his demon form or old man form, or Louisa Ferre; Louis Cypher is fine too. I love … everything … whether it’s True Demon Ending smut, or Neutral Ending where the Demifiend is attempting a normal life with some amount of success, and especially when they’ve gone through this all multiple times: Neutral ending with the world having been restored and then ended again leading to TDE is the ideal. Smut is great; not smut is also great, because time is on Lucifer’s side here.
Demifiend & Kuzonoha Raidou XIV
Either in the Vortex World, or I’ve always been really interested in a neutral-esque ending Demifiend in Raidou’s capital and time :B Or maybe Raidou’s been time-travelling again. Either way. An upholder of order demon summoner, and a strange half-demon boy who may or may not be one of Lucifer’s generals.

Gaston & Navarre; Hallelujah & Navarre; Gaston & Hallelujah & Navarre
Navarre is such a weirdo and I’m kind of fascinated by him being in the party? He’s a useless dickweed, but he’s our useless dickweed, and Gaston spends an awkward amount of time completely unaware he’s being haunted by his dead brother in a literal sense as well as the figurative. And Hallelujah seems to enjoy sniping at him constantly. They’re good brats, even if it took Navarre until after his death to get a whiff of a redeeming character trait.

POST BONDS, A GASTON/HALLELUJAH HAPPY ENDING how exceedingly awkward is their relationship to navigate? A samurai and a yakuza, a holy warrior and a half-demon, a dickweed who can’t get along with other people if his life depends on it and … a much more polite dickweed. Tell me. They’re charming ♥
Hallelujah/Nanashi
Massacre route is love, massacre route is life. Hallelujah trying to hide his origins while Nanashi tries to be subtle about being corpse-boy is also excellent. Or they could try to balance indulging in their nonhuman aspects with remaining decent people, for some definition of ‘decent’. I’m not too into postgame Bonds route HalleNana, though; it’s just not as much fun if Nanashi isn’t dead and bodysharing with Dagda.
Isabeau/Shesha; Nanashi/Shesha
All I wanna do is see you turn into a giant monster (giant monster)! All I wanna be is someone who gets to see a giant monster. Hello horrible impersonations as Shesha is Shesha and eats people. Or maybe Nanashi eats people and he really does not want to be caught at it, except Shesha is Shesha.
Isabeau telling Shesha all about her romance manga. Honestly, literally everything about Shesha trying to not break cover with Isabeau is ... an adventure ... ... .... I have questions here? I have many questions. Leave it fridge horror for Isabeau, though; I don't want her whumped too bad, and anyway I would prefer stuff mostly canon compliant with Shesha trying hard to not break cover.

Bito “Beat” Daisukenojou/Sakuraba Neku
I don’t know what these kids are doing in this side of the letter. They look lost. That’s okay, though; they are lost and they’re completely fucked, too. I would looooove anything with them bonding in adversity, or having complicated Feelings during week two, or even how Beat feels about being sidelined in week one as that total asshole over there manages to keep his partner alive while Beat is totally worthless. I like stuff Fraught more than fluffy, but don’t feel discouraged if this is what you matched on: they’re good kids and I’m not expecting [ … gestures at rest of letter. ]
What happens if Neku takes the shot at the end of the game? Terrible Composer Neku/Conductor Beat would be delightful.
Please keep Joshua as far out of this as possible. Mentions are okay but minimal Joshua. This is a Joshua-free zone.
Bito “Beat” Daisukenojo/Kariya Koki
Aaaaaaaah Beat. Beat’s arc is so good and I am forever in love with both his resolution to get help from Uzuki and Kariya and then later it being his idea to spare them in the third week. Beat is a good egg and meanwhile Kariya is a guy who’s made a career out of killing dead people. I’d completely adore anything during the second week or post-game ♥
Hanekoma Sanae/Minamimoto Sho
Teehee fallen angle. I love these two, and I have one exception to unrequested pairings: Hanekoma/Joshua, but obviously you don’t have to include that if you don’t want to. Still, though, Hanekoma’s history of being a terrible mentor for a wide range of people would be a delightful undercurrent; alternatively, Minamimoto has no idea of any of this and just likes a fellow shitty street artist. Especially one who appreciates his Vision. It’s all good.
I’m more here for them being at least somewhat on friendly terms than straight-up angry sex, though. They can fight like cats but I like it when they like each other.
Kiryu “Joshua” Yoshiya/Kitaniji Megumi
Is this sexual harassment in the workplace? I think this is sexual harassment in the workplace. Joshua, don’t do … anything you’re considering doing. … okay, nevermind, Megumi’s pretty okay with it. Hellooooo power imbalance. I am also super here for anything where Megumi just has not noticed his boss is kind of a dweeb, but Joshua can be a Srs Composer, too.
Kiryu “Joshua” Yoshiya/Minamimoto Sho
You know what are great AUs? AUs where Joshua is just another reaper and they’re shitty peers. Composer Joshua having fun keeping around some guy who keeps trying to kill him is A++ too, though. It’s all good.
Kitaniji Megumi/Minamimoto Sho
I DON’T KNOW WHAT’S GOING ON BETWEEN THEM BUT IT’S NOT JUST ME, RIGHT. Sho’s disrespectful of Megumi in ways that imply familiarity, and then Megumi doesn’t seem to mind that Sho’s fucked off to who knows where while mysteriously there’s Taboo Noise all over the place, and then Megumi casually puts a hit out on Sho on day seven. What the fuck. There’s a history; I can feel it. Pre-game, week two, week three; it’s all good, though now my brain just landed on sordid week three tryst where they really should try to kill each other but they just don’t feel like it right now.
Konishi Mitsuki/Minamimoto Sho
Konishi, you sly fucker. She’s really grown on me and I love her willingness to backstab absolutely everyone, and I think that if Minamimoto had successfully killed Joshua, she’d proceed to run circles around him. She’s kind of delightful. Anything with these two’s awkward partnership in week three would be delightful, especially if Konishi’s been wanting to kill him for a very long time but he just finally became useful. Terrible.
